The Productivity Places Program is part of the Australian Government’s Skilling Australia for the future initiative and is a great way to improve your skills and secure ongoing employment.
 
 
Mission Australia Training Institute is an approved provider of training under this initiative. If you are an eligible Job Seeker, the Australian Government will fully fund training under the program.
 
ELIGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS
Mission Australia Training Institute is approved to deliver the qualifications below:
Certificate II in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations)  (PRM20104)
Certificate II in Retail  (SIR20207)
Certificate II in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage)  (TLI20107)
Certificate II in General Construction  (BCG20103)
Certificate II in Horticulture  (RTF20103)
Certificate III in Aged Care Work  (CHC30102)
Certificate III in Children's Services  (CHC30402)
Certificate III in Disability Work  (CHC30302)
Certificate III in Home and Community Care  (CHC30202)
Certificate III in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage)  (TLI30107)
Certificate III in Retail Operations  (WRR30202)
Certificate III in Retail Supervision  (WRR30102)
Certificate II in Customer Contact  (ICT20102)
Certificate III in Customer Contact  (ICT30102)
Certificate II in Local Government  (LGA20104)

Eligible qualifications are those identified by the Industry Skills Councils (ISCs), in consultation with the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), as appropriate to meet identified skills needs in the Australian workforce.

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
At this stage PPP will be available for job seekers only. Eligible job seekers are Australian citizens or permanent residents over the age of 15 and:

  • Registered with an Employment Services Provider (ESP), or
  • In receipt of income support, or
  • A Community Development Employment Projects participant, or
  • Not currently working but seeking or intending to seek paid employment or self employment, or
  • In one of these categories before they commenced their Australian Apprenticeship (on or after 01/04/08).

Job seekers must be referred by their ESP. Those not registered with an ESP must contact Mission Australia Training Institute directly to confirm eligibility.

HOW TO APPLY
Step 1 - Confirm eligibility

To confirm your eligibility to undertake training in one of our accredited courses, please download and complete Sections 1, 2 and 3 of the Confirmation of Enrolment Form.

Step 2 - Ensure you have the required documentation

Participants must be able to demonstrate:

1. Citizenship or Residency –
(one only required)

  • Australian Birth Certificate
  • Australian Passport
  • Naturalisation Certificate
  • Green Medicare Card
  • Visa

2. Age/ Identity –
(one only required)

  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Proof of Age Card

Step 3 – Visit your Employment Services Provider (ESP)
If you are a Job Seeker registered with an Employment Service Provider (e.g. Job Network Member (JNM), Disability Employment Network (DEN) member, Job Placement, Employment and Training (JPET) provider, Personal Support Program (PSP) provider, or Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) provider), download the Referral Form to a Registered Training Organisation, then give to your case manager, and discuss this opportunity to undertake accredited training with Mission Australia Training Institute to help improve your chances of employment.

Step 4 – Contact Mission Australia Training Institute
If you are not registered with an Employment Service Provider (ESP), you may still qualify for training. Please contact us to arrange an appointment to progress your application. Please ensure you bring this information pack with you, including partially completed Confirmation of Enrolment Form and supporting documentation (as per Steps 2 & 3).
